Scholarly Writing and Critical Review of Scientific Literature

Catalog description

Through writing abstracts, summaries and critically reviewing peer reviewed parasitology literature, course participants will gain skills in assessing study design and interpretation of results. Written critiques and annotations of literature will enable opportunities to practice scientific writing. In addition, participants will gain basic skills in poster presentations and be exposed to grant writing.
