Catalog description

This course will serve as an opportunity for review and synthesis of information related to common and important parasitic infections of small animals. Parasites of these hosts will be reviewed, and students will work through a series of cases from presentation, differential diagnoses, choice of diagnostic sample(s) and testing, and suggestions for treatment and control. The course will be taught via online, synchronous and asynchronous discussions. This course is intended to be an elective course for students enrolled in the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Veterinary Parasitology.
