This course provides an understanding about the strategic role of policies, strategies and planning processes in international and national contexts with a strong focus on the world-critical topic of energy as the course's primary application area.Students will explore synergies between various sectors and learn how energy policies can help address broader environmental and socio-economic agendas. The course provides a solid basis for professionals from different backgrounds to understand energy policy either as planners, analysts or implementers of energy strategies with different stakeholder perspectives.
