Catalog description
This graduate-level course is designed for students interested in developing data analysis skills for data science related applications. This course will teach statistical analysis, probability, and basic regression analysis methods. This class will emphasize understanding how to perform and interpret basic statistical tests, interpret regression output, and approach research design in the presence of endogeneity. This course will cover both theoretical and practical issues, and problem sets will contain applications to real data and require the use of statistical software.
