This course prepares students to pursue full-time employment following graduation through structured career exploration, self-assessment, and professional development. Students will explore career pathways, evaluate their strengths and areas for growth, and develop a plan aligned with their individual career goals. The course emphasizes communicating the connection between one’s skills and career aspirations, as well as understanding the importance of professional relationships in gaining career insights, building skills, and accessing opportunities. Students will also learn to proactively identify and engage with individuals who can support their career development. By the end of the course, students will have developed an actionable approach to career planning and the strategies needed to pursue full-time opportunities.
