Intensive, real-world experiences that bridge classroom learning with professional practice. This course is a structured, credit-bearing experiential learning course that provides substantive academic and professional preparation for students enrolled in the Cornell in Los Angeles program. While the course includes industry excursions, its credit hours are also earned through the rigorous intellectual and professional work students complete before, during, and after those site visits. This course requires students to apply that knowledge in real-world contexts through guided engagement with studios, creative executives, industry networks, and cultural institutions central to contemporary performance and media.
