Introduction to Sea Kayaking

Catalog description

Learn the basics to get you started with sea kayaking out on the lake. This course covers information about equipment, loading, launching and landing your kayak, exiting and re-entering your kayak in open water, and basic paddling stroke technique. Practice these skills at some great local paddling destinations around the Ithaca area. Must be a comfortable recreational swimmer.
