Catalog description

The objective of the course is to introduce you to the different ways in which corporations finance projects, and to give you some basic tools to assess and negotiate financing terms. Much of the course will involve case discussions. The cases are used to illustrate tradeoffs that firm face when choosing different financing options and the way they assess the best financing opportunities. We will touch on start-up financing, debt financing of mid-size projects, and project financing of large projects.
