Catalog description

This course focuses on three essential topics that will equip leaders with skills to deal with current obstacles to success: Leading Meritocratically, Leading Across Difference and Navigating Ambiguity. The concepts will include both time-tested ideas and very recent findings, putting you at the cutting edge of management thinking. We will also explore how recent technological advances—like artificial intelligence—can be effective tools to help deal with the challenges that leaders face today. But learning the lessons intellectually is the easy part. You will also have the chance to practice and experiment with these ideas. Through class exercises, cases, and assignments, you will have the opportunity to turn the concepts into competencies.
