An introduction to professional skills as applied to materials science and engineering. Teams will practice design as systematized problem solving with a mixture of technical and non-technical constraints. Ethical considerations based on case studies will be discussed. Communication skills will be treated in the context of the variety of communication modes required for varying career paths in materials science and engineering.
