Catalog description

This course uses a sociological lens to consider common issues that organizational leaders deal with across an organization’s lifecycle. These include contingencies related to the design of formal structure, types of group dynamics that may affect decision-making and coordination, cultural influences in organizations, managing relations with external constituents, and bringing about change. Course topics will be examined through readings, class discussion, cases and interactive exercises.
