Catalog description

This is an introductory course covering the basic elements of American civil procedure. Civil procedure refers to the rules, doctrines, and ongoing issues that order civil litigation in U.S. Courts. This course includes weekly readings of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and at least one or two cases, which will be discussed in class.
