Communications Consulting for Engineers

Catalog description

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be well prepared to assist instructors as course assistants or other similar position. Enrolled students will support an Engineering Communications Program faculty member in creating course learning materials and holding regular meetings with student teams to consult on their communication work. Students will engage in reading concepts, theories, and pedagogical pieces and applying them to their projects. As well, students will hone their abilities to consult with teams as well as methodologies for tutoring in the university space.
