Honors Engineering Communications

Undergraduates who are already approved for Honors in the majors may apply for ENGRC 3341 . Enrollment in this course is an acknowledgement that the Honors committee for this student will guide the student in writing and other engineering communications skills. A written Honors thesis that includes a 20+page research report (using primary and secondary sources) is the cornerstone consideration; students are also expected to produce a second communication-intense outcome, such as a scientific poster or a public presentation about their Honors topic. Apply for consideration at the start of the semester when the Honors project will be completed. Learning outcomes will be individualized to the Honors project, but will include no fewer than two of those listed below.
