Catalog description

This graduate course explores design-thinking strategies at the intersections of creativity, science, and engineering. Students will learn about the creative strategies that today's designers use to address complex problems, and they will apply intuition, imagination, and reasoning to produce innovative design solutions. Different theoretical themes and design thinking techniques will be introduced and explored each week through critical readings, discussions, and creative synthesis. (MHA-EL)
