Catalog description

Centering Communication (and related disciplines) frameworks and perspectives, this course will acquaint students with notable human perspectives that prompt the development of interpersonal communication theory and research. Each week, drawing from various critical and empirical social scientific theories and perspectives, our weekly, in-depth discussions will: (a) evaluate the variety and quality of interpersonal interactions and (b) co-create diverse research questions/hypotheses and develop novel research projects that center on exploring interpersonal phenomena.
