The Place To Be CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS 40 Copiah-LinCoLn Community CoLLege DIVISION OF CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION Dr. Sharolyn Magee, Dean of Career anD TeChniCal eDuCaTion Career education programs at Copiah-Lincoln Community College are designed to prepare the student for entry-level employment in a specific occupation. The college awards a career certificate upon successful completion of the curriculum. Technical education programs are designed to prepare students for employment upon completion of the specified program curriculum. Students are then eligible to receive the Associate in Applied Science Degree. Several Career and Technical Programs require students to meet special entrance requirements. These requirements are stated in the following curriculum descriptions. CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS The primary objective of Copiah-Lincoln Community College is to provide Career and Technical Programs designed to prepare the student for immediate employment. In keeping with this objective, a wide variety of Career and Technical Programs are offered on both the Wesson and Natchez Campuses and the Simpson County Center.
