This course builds on MFL 2213 with additional literary and cultural readings and compositions as well as a review of essential elements of grammar. Three hours lecture per week. The Place To Be MUSIC APPLIED (MUA) (Brass, Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Voice, and Woodwinds) All music majors desiring enrollment in Applied Music course must audition prior to registra- tion so that the proper course numbers can be assigned. Applied Music courses may be scheduled for elective credit by non-music majors at the discretion of the instructor. One hour practice is required daily for each Applied Music hour credit. Designed to teach the fundamental prin- ciples of playing, explore varied levels of literature and develop the student’s knowledge of brass instruction and performance.
