This course includes the following topics with applications: inequalities; functions; linear and qua- dratic equations, and their graphs; rational, radical, and higher order equations; polynomial and ra- tional functions; logarithmic and exponential functions; systems of equations; additional prerequisite topics will be covered as needed. Four hours lecture/lab per week. Credit, four semester hours. (Pre- requisite: ACT Math score of 16-18 or Next-Generation ACCUPLACER Math score of 231-254 or successful completion of MAT 1234 or MAT 1233 with a grade of C or higher)
