Advisory: This course is highly recommended and ideally taken before PHYS-120 or PHYS-130. It may also be taken concurrently. Strong algebra and basic trigonometry skills recommended. This course is a pre-requisite for PHYS-120, 120H and 130. Essential for everyone, it is ideally taken before ("pre-requisite") your physics course, but can be taken concurrently (co-requisite). We are committed to supporting you in your STEM education. * This section meets the FIRST 8 weeks of the semester and is particularly suitable for those taking physics the following semester or later. This is a pass/no-pass asynchronous online class. There are recorded lectures and examples in the Canvas modules to assist you. The course is based on the text with handwritten solutions to text exercises submitted online, discussions and short quizzes in Canvas. The required text, Your Physics Coach, is available in the CCC Bookstore for approximately $60.
