Examination of the role of soft goods in the creation of products and spaces. Creation of prototypes in an iterative process, analysis of sewing techniques, creation of patterns, reverse engineering of competing products, and analysis of materials. Study of soft and harder materials that can be sewn, use of technology for diverse applications, with a focus on matching true customer needs.
