Surveys the diversity of protozoan and metazoan groups that parasitize animals while introducing core principles of parasitism, parasite evolution, and ecology. Focuses on parasites of medical, veterinary, and economic importance, emphasizing knowledge of the biology and life cycles of individual parasites. Labs involve advanced microscopy training and elements of diagnostics.
