Catalog description
With a focus on story and character development, students in this course will be challenged to generate a short narrative video game storyline. Participants will examine the relationship of story, character and player, investigate a selection of popular storytelling games, and explore ways that games have historically visualized and communicated their story. This course culminates in the development of an interactive media prototype utilizing an appropriate off-the-shelf game engine.
