(Also offered as IMS 5303 .) Lecture on sample preparation and analyses, for characterization of compositions of materials. Methods to be discussed include titrations, atomic absorption, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, infrared, Raman, Ultraviolet visible, fluorescence, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
