Catalog description

An exploration of the exceptional genetic mechanisms that are employed by selfish genetic elements that will stop at nothing–including the fitness of their host–to become immortal. Readings from primary literature will inform discussion about the mechanism of each drive system and what weak points the selfish genetic element exploits in order to gain a transmission advantage.
