An introduction to short stories and frame tale collections as part of a cross-cultural genre of storytelling that flourished during the European medieval era, rooted in different traditions and languages from Asia and the Mediterranean to Europe and the Atlantic world. Students will engage with short stories by rewriting and adapting them to different media. Taught in English.
