Catalog description

(LECTURE ONLY) This course provides an introduction to concepts and topics related to the care of a critically ill patient. Weekly lecture topics include the pathophysiology and management of selected diseases affecting major organ systems and requiring intensive care therapy. (This course is lecture based and does not include the journal club in the second hour.) Prerequisites: (PHAR 452 or 6530 ).
