Catalog description
This course is the first in the Pharmacology Medicinal Chemistry course series that will introduce the core concepts of Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Toxicology, and Drug Design that will lay the foundational knowledge for a deep dive into how drugs affect the human body (i.e., pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic effects of drugs on the human body). The first half of the course focuses on fundamental concepts. The second half of the course will explore the effect of drugs on physiologic systems. Prerequisite: PHAR 5110 .
