Public Health Microbiology describes the methods that industrialized countries use to ensure the safety of their populations from infectious disease. Topics covered include water and wastewater treatment, food microbiology, vaccines, sexually transmitted diseases, biostatistics, and epidemiology. Prerequisites: (PHAR 314 or 5140 ).
