Catalog description

This didactic and clinical course explores symptoms, differential diagnosis, diagnostic evaluation, and the management of common episodic and chronic health conditions throughout the adult lifespan. Integration of theory, pathophysiology, health assessment, and pharmacotherapeutics for the older adult in the outpatient setting will be highlighted. This course emphasizes evidence based practice, health promotion and disease prevention. Prerequisites: (MSN 866, NURS 766 or 7266 ).
