Catalog description

This course is for the DE-MSN student. Students will examine concepts and theories related to public health and community nursing. The nurse's role in developing and implementing evidence-based interventions aimed at sustaining and promoting health within diverse communities will be explored. This course integrates principles of epidemiology, public health, population-focused practice, and community assessment.
