Essential Foundations for Professional Nursing

Catalog description

This course is for the DE-MSN student. Students are introduced to foundational concepts of professional nursing, role expectations, and psychomotor skill competencies. Building upon these foundational concepts, students develop beginning skill sets including clinical reasoning and clinical judgment, principles of safety, and communication, which are critical in providing safe, person-centered nursing care.
