Catalog description

is designed for the student who is comfortable with translating Latin poetry and prose into English. Representative authors for this class include Caesar, Catullus, Livy, Sallust, and Tacitus. The student also sees how these authors have influenced the culture of not only their own world, but of the present age. Prerequisites: (LAT 206 or 2060 ).
