Catalog description

This course presents elements of vocabulary, morphology, and syntax with a reading of simple Hebrew prose. Students will learn to recognize Hebrew vocabulary, to distinguish between the various parts of speech, to analyze Hebrew morphology, and to apply rules of syntax in order to create translations of elementary Hebrew texts that represent a synthesis of Hebrew vocabulary, morphology, and syntax. Prerequisites: (HEB 301 or 2010 ).
