Epic Poetry

Catalog description

This course studies selected readings of such Greek poets as Babrius, Hipponax, Homer, Euripides, and Sophocles, with readings progressing from the relatively easy to the more difficult. The study of Greek prose may also be used to prepare students to read Greek poetry. Prerequisites: (GRK 304 or 3020 ).
