Student Teaching for Lower Elementary

Catalog description

Under the supervision of a mentor teacher and university supervisor, the candidate will design and deliver instruction and assessments to students in a lower elementary classroom (grades PK-3). Through reflection on their instruction and feedback from the mentor, the candidate will develop and improve their practice. With support from the mentor teacher, the candidate will manage the classroom and all related activities. Prerequisites: (EDU 395 or 3050 ).
