Human Growth and Development Clinical

Catalog description

Candidates will receive instruction and support for participation in a clinical experience (minimum 15 hours) in a classroom appropriate to their program certification level (elementary, middle, or secondary). Under the supervision and direction of the mentor/classroom teacher, candidates will engage with students, applying best practices related to human development, behavior assessment, and intervention. Candidates will observe and reflect on how developmental stages and individual differences influence learning and classroom interactions.
