Advanced Methods of Teaching Mathematics K-9

Catalog description

This course explores content, materials and strategies for teaching and assessing elementary and middle school mathematics. Current research in mathematics education and curriculum development is emphasized. Pre-service teachers will teach mathematics in local schools and develop a philosophy for teaching mathematics. Prerequisite: minimum score of 01 in 'Upper Division Status'.
