This course explores materials and methods in the study of the communication skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading, and their interrelationships. Research-based practices in teaching students the many different types of literacy and becoming confident and independent readers and writers is emphasized. Prerequisite: minimum score of 01 in 'Upper Division Status'.
