Catalog description

This course is a study of developmentally appropriate practices for the whole child, with emphasis on the nature and functions of play. Students develop an understanding of constructivist theory and utilize strategies of curriculum design that are emergent, integrated, aligned with early learning standards, and meet the needs of diverse learners. To be taken prior to student teaching. Prerequisite: minimum score of 01 in 'Upper Division Status'.
