Catalog description

This course includes the study of the physiological, acoustic, and perceptual aspects of speech and hearing, the anatomy/physiology of the auditory system and the human response to sound. Emphasis is placed upon speech production, including respiration, phonation, resonance, articulation, prosody, and acoustic phonetics.
