Catalog description

This course provides an overview of accounting and finance topics necessary for entry level business professionals. This course is not intended for those students who wish to pursue advanced courses in accounting and finance. Topics include: financial statements and analysis, the accounting cycle, accounting presentation for current assets, PPE, liabilities, and stockholders’ equity, cost-volume-profit relationships, cost management, budgeting and control, decision making, and capital investments.
