Surveying Capstone I

This course is part one of a two part Capstone course. This Capstone experience provides student the opportunity to demonstrate, present, and simulate methods and techniques used to obtain and manage a surveying project. The methods and techniques studied include project data collection, schedule development, organizational forms, schedule adjustment, drawing coordination, along with coorespondence and tracking techniques. Student teams are selected jointly by the students and approved by the instructor to prepare for and simulate the process of obtaining project data, management and some field operational concerns by the teams. The students will be evaluated by reviewing the completeness of the project data collected which will be used in SURV 2599 Capstone II course.
