Catalog description

This course provides the advanced student with greater opportunity to explore and enhance skills necessary to effectively work with individuals, family members and groups. Content includes: individual, group and family related treatment services, teaching and supporting strategies, stage-wise treatment approaches, community integration supported living, and supported employment. This course integrates class content with practicum objectives. The identification of the 12 core fuctions occurs throughout the course. This course must be completed with a "C" or higher.
