Catalog description

This is a social justice course that surveys developmental change from conception through death. The following stages of human growth and development are covered: conception and prenatal growth, infancy and toddlerhood, early childhood, middle and late childhood, adolescence, and early, middle, and late adulthood. This course focuses on the three global domains of development: Physical, Cognitive, and Socioemotional development. Sections of this course are S-designated Service Learning classes.
