Catalog description

This introductory course provides a broad survey of psychological science including biological bases of behavior, sensation, perception, consciousness, memory, learning, cognition, motivation, emotion, human development, diversity, stress, personality, social psychology, psychological disorders, and therapies. Students will explore how psychological principles relate to the daily human experience, with an emphasis on individual and cultural differences and similarities. Sections of this course are H-designated Honors classes.
