Pharmacology II For the Practical Nurse

Catalog description

This course continues to build on the student’s understanding of medication classifications and the nursing implications associated with administration of selected medications commonly prescribed across the health-illness continuum. Intravenous therapy theory and regulations governing this therapy will be presented. An emphasis will be placed on using the nursing process to develop critical thinking skills and safe patient care practices.
