Catalog description

This course introduces the performance of nursing skills to the Practical Nursing student. The combination of lecture, laboratory skills, demonstration, and practice will cover major topics such as: wound care, specimen collection, airway care, oxygen administration, enteral nutrition, and elimination assistance. Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit for NURC 1101 Nurse Aide Training may be available to a student with a valid State of Ohio Nurse Aide Registry Card.
