Catalog description

This course explores the ever-changing definition of family, factors that influence families and the impact of and resources available to family members of individuals with a developmental disability, mental health disorder and / or substance abuse disorders. In addition, this course provides the student with an overview of the aging process. Needs and resources for the growing number of individuals in later life and their family members are discussed. This course must be completed with a "C" or higher.
