Rad Protection General Machine Operators

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare non-radiographers with a specific background in radiographic equipment operation, radiation protection, and radiation biology necessary to be eligible to apply for the State of Ohio, Radiology Technology Division, General Operator Examination. Areas of instruction include radiation physics, radiographic exposure, digital image processing, radiation safety and basic radiation biology. Basic radiographic positioning skills and terminology are also presented.
